Strawberry Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 1 and 1/2 cups flour
• 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 3 tablespoons butter, softened
• 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1/3 cup chocolate chips plus more to decorate the top of the cake
• 0.5 kg of strawberries

Cooking

  1. Preheat oven to 220 °. Put the parchment paper on the bottom of the baking pan. Grease the form with butter.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the butter, Greek yogurt and 1 cup of sugar and, using an electric mixer, beat at medium-high speed for no more than 2 minutes.
  4. Reduce the speed to medium, add the egg, whisk until light and fluffy. Then mix with milk, vanilla.
  5. Mix flour and liquid mixture and add chocolate chips to the dough.
  6. Move the dough into a baking dish. Place the strawberries on top of the pie.
  7. Bake the cake for about 1 hour until golden brown is on top. In the last 5-10 minutes of baking, you can pull the cake out of the oven and sprinkle with a few more chocolate chips.
