Crispy Homemade Potato Chips with Lemon

INGREDIENTS
500 g potatoes for frying
1 medium lemon
3 tbsp. l olive oil
0.5 tsp ground zira
ground hot red pepper
salt

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Peel the potatoes and cut into circles with a thickness of 5-6 mm (most conveniently cut with a mandolin grater). Wash the lemon with a brush, dry it, remove the zest with a fine grater, squeeze the juice.
Step 2
Mix 2 tbsp. l lemon juice, olive oil, zira and a little hot pepper. Pour the potatoes with this mixture and mix by hand so that each slice is covered with spiced oil.
Step 3
Cover 2 baking sheets with parchment (all the same, all the slices will not fit, bake in batches) and lay the potatoes in one layer, not overlapping. Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Turn the slices over and return to the oven for another 10-12 minutes. In ready-made chips, the edges begin to turn and turn brown. Sprinkle the finished chips with lemon juice, sprinkle with lemon zest and salt, cool on a wire rack.
